I personally like Sexyy . We’re the same age but I’m just a country girl. She’s hyping herself up, saying she’s not a mule for theses men, and how weird other women can be towards her for attracting other men and having success. She had a strong fan base and we like her catalog. She has about 30 songs . Club music, pre game music, hype music. People have been promiscuous before her and will continue to be after her. And when she takes off all the gimmicks, she has a beautiful black unambiguous look . Yes she’s ratchet but that’s just her. & she’s feeding her family off being just her which is beautiful .

I see what you are saying here. It’s not so much about doing what Sexxy Red or anyone else is doing per se. It’s more about getting yourself a life and being bold enough (or fed up enough) to live it and express yourself how you see fit.
Let’s face it, SR’s male counterparts who act the same way and rap about the same stuff using similar or worse language and most who are UGC men (the ‘G’ is guy instead of girl) don’t get the same kind of judgment including insults about her looks.
I am not a fan of her music, but even I can see she isn’t letting ANY of that stop her from living a life that bc she’s out doing her thing, SHE will not have to wonder ‘woulda, shoulda, coulda’ about her life when she’s looking back on it later. Mistakes and all.
